The World War II Memorial honors the 16 million who served in the armed forces of the U.S., the more than 400,000 who died, and all who supported the war effort from home. Symbolic of the defining event of the 20th Century, the memorial is a monument to the spirit, sacrifice, and commitment of the American people.

Scott McGuire is a traditional landscape photographer based in the Reno-Lake Tahoe region in Northwest Nevada. Scott's passion is capturing amazing landscapes while painted with beautiful light and has afforded him the opportunity to see some of the most beautiful and unique places in not only the United States, but the entire world. The Sierra Nevada mountain range offers breathtaking scenery and has become Scott's artistic focus. Scott also enjoys shooting historical locations and buildings.
